The Definitive CBB_DFS ACC Preview

After last season's mega stars in college basketball dominated the ACC (namely Duke), this year brings a refreshing reset to the league. Gone are Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett, two players that would cost you a 5th of your bank roll to play. Gone is playing Caviller roulette with the three headed monster from Virginia in Ty Jerome, Kyle Guy, and DeAndre Hunter. Stalwart Lucas Maye is no more, Syracuse has been gutted, FSU retools. This years ACC is going to look much different. More than any other conference the ACC will be a league we watch early as rotations are being set. How will the new freshmen fare (Patrick Williams, Vernon Carey)? What can we expect from an impact

The Definitive CBB_DFS B1G Preview

The B1G Conference had it all last year. Final Four caliber teams? (Sparty) Check. Elite DFS plays? (Happ, Edwards) Check. Tournament drama? (Purdue, Maryland) Check. Can the B1G repeat the success of last season? Let's find out! Let's start with Final Four caliber teams. Michigan State is back and loaded once again, even claiming in the #1 spot in the preseason polls (first time in program history). Maryland lost their star big man to the NBA but return nearly everyone else and add a top recruiting class to boot. Purdue and Ohio St have experience and talent. Meanwhile, upshot teams, Illinois and Rutgers look to ride the momentum they built late last season. Great, now let's talk about DFS. Gone is Happ

The Definitive CBB_DFS PAC 12 Preview

The Conference of Champions appears to be much-improved in 2019-2020. While the Pac-12 got its fair share of criticism last year, in 2019-2020 the league boasts some elite individual talents that will be a blast to watch.  Add in some late night Bill Walton plus a couple adult beverages and that is an equation for DFS heaven for our Bucketheads to sit back and enjoy. The Pac-12 had three teams’ finish 257th or worse in defensive efficiency in 2018-2019.  While that number is bound to improve, there are still lots of opportunities to load up on the Pac-12 matchups.  Add in an influx of elite freshmen and experienced playmakers and the Pac-12 may have some of the highest priced players on a slate this year,

The Definitive CBB_DFS SEC Preview

Last year the SEC treated us to some of the best basketball in the country. Tennessee lived up to their pre-season hype, Kentucky was a top team in the nation at seasons end, LSU won 28 games before the wheels fell off, and Auburn made an improbable run to the Final Four. Fast forward to this season and the team descriptions still rings eerily true. However the schools might be a little interchangeable. Florida finds themselves with some lofty expectations. Kentucky is still going to Kentucky. LSU looks like a team ready to win another unstable 25+ and there are a slew of teams auditioning for the role of Cinderella that Bruce Pearl was cast as a year ago (personally

The Definitive CBB_DFS Big East Preview

This is the best conference in college basketball from a DFS standpoint this year and it isn't even that close. This conference features some of the nation's best scorers (Howard, Powell), most diverse wings (Diallo, Marshall), and some fun up-and-coming bigs (Yurtseven, Robinson-Earl). The league isn't exactly known for its defensive prowess either. Take all of that and sprinkle in a little Gus Johnson on FS1 and we are in @CBB_DFS heaven. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gbf7hp-6Y4 Pre-season All-Big East DFS Team G - Myles Powell, SeniorG - Markus Howard, SeniorG - Alpha Diallo, SeniorF - L.J. The Definitive CBB_DFS Big 12 Preview

There won’t be a lot of $10k type players in the Big 12 this year, but there are a ton of veterans that should provide Bucketheads stability and upside this year in DFS. Bane should be usage king for TCU and is clearly their best player. Dotson will play 38+ min/game for KU, making him a cash game staple. Derek Culver showed double-double upside last year and will team up with 5-star monster Oscar Tshiebwe down low for the Mountaineers, but overall there is a lack of star power in the Big 12 in the upcoming season. Pre-season All-Big 12 DFS Team G - Desmond Bane, SeniorG - Devin Dotson, SophomoreG - Xavier Sneed, SeniorF - Kristian Doolittle, SeniorF - Tristan Clark,
